Also, there has been a positive evolution of the schedules; ten years ago, music shows used to start at 10 p.m. During high season, shows start at 6 p.m. so attendees can have dinner one hour later. The concerts happening at the Auditori start 30 minutes earlier – now at 8.30 p.m. instead of 9. During local festivals and fairs, music shows start at 11 p.m. and organizers insist more on punctuality. Raising awareness of punctuality among citizens has also been a key point.

At the theatre hall La Planeta, shows start at 8.30 p.m.; libraries open from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., and on Saturday it’s closed during the afternoon. Children activities start at 11 a.m. The History Museum of Girona closes at 5.30 p.m. during winter and at 6.30 p.m. during summer: with continuous opening hours and closing one hour earlier. Visitors are summoned 15 minutes before the start of guided tours, to ensure punctuality. Family activities on Saturday start at 10.30 a.m. At the Culture House all conferences start one hour earlier, at 7 or 7.30 p.m. Music shows start at 8 p.m.
